This was what one usually recognizes as ‘freelancing’. Freelancing can be done in different areas like writing, programming, data entry, designing, etc. This is a very profitable business considering the fact that you can make money with what ever knowledge you already possess. Also, it requires just a minimal investment of setting up a website.

The second option is to take up Internet Marketing (IM). Here, you take a product of some other company, and promote it by acting as their agent. To be frank, what you get from selling their products will be your commission. To exceed in this business, you will need to have a clear idea of internet and marketing through internet. You don’t need to pay anything to the company in most cases, but you just need to get a website for this business also.

The third option is selling niche products. Niche products are those which are in demand in the market at that instant of time. These can either be physical or informative products. Selling niche products is a part of IM to be honest.

The next thing you could possibly do is sell items on eBay. If you believe that you possess a unique product or service, you could set it up on eBay for sale. Many people have made a fortune by selling products through eBay auctions.

If you think you are not good with the online stuff, then you can think of something offline. For instance, you could join as an agent with some offline company and sell their products. There are a number of companies will provide such opportunities to you. But in contrast to online affiliate programs, which you can start for free, you need to pay a registration fees to become an agent with the offline companies.
